ABOUT MATH TUTORING

Math tutoring is the original and central focus of my tutoring practice. I tutor all levels of math from lower elementary arithmetic up through High School Calculus. Here is a brief list of the subject areas I can tutor fully and in depth:

School Year Tutoring

During the school year I will use a student's homework and previous tests as a source of concrete example problems from which we can jump off and teach and explore all the relevant concepts and techniques needed to solve the students classroom problems. We will go into as much depth as needed to push for a solid understanding. We will freely use other resources within the full reach of the internet and applications such as Wolfram Alpha, Desmos, Geogebra, etc as needed.

Summer Tutoring

During summer, or as needed, I will determine sample problems, materials, or workbooks, or worksheets to use for the summer learning goals and objectives. As needed, I will coordinate with the students parents and teachers to determine goals and objectives.
